The Outer Banks Motel was established in 1955 by the Dillons, a family with a rich history on Hatteras Island for over 100 years. Outer Banks Motel lies on a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for sunbathing, swimming, fishing and surfing. Just across the street the serene waters of the Pamlico Sound are ideal for boating and crabbing. Within one mile of the motel are numerous restaurants, clothing stores, gift shops, tackle shops, surf shops, kayak tours and grocery stores.
